Sides

 

"So here are the official sides, " said Summer at lunch the next day.

She pulled out a folded piece of loose-leaf paper and opened it.

It had three columns of names.

 

"여기 공식적으로 편 나눈 거야" Summer가 다음날 점심시간에 이야기했다.

그녀는 잎사귀 같은 종이를 꺼내 열었다.

거기엔 3줄로 이름이 나눠 있었다.

 

He said this in such a funny way that the milk I was drinking came out my nose

when I laughed which made us all totally crack up.

 

그는 내가 마시던 우유가 코로 나올 정도로 우스꽝스럽게 이야기했다. 우리는 엄청 웃었다.

 

August's House

"Dude, your sister's hot." I said.
"I know."
"She hates me, right? You told her about the Halloween Incident?"
"Yeah."
"Yeah, she hates me or yeah, you told her about Halloween?"
"Both."

 

"너희 누나 인기 많겠다." 내가 말했다.

"나도 알아"

"누나가 나 싫어하지? 너 핼로윈 사건 이야기했어?"

"응"

"응 한 게 그녀가 날 싫어한다는 거야 네가 그녀에게 핼로윈에 대해 이야기했다는 거야?"

"둘 다"

 

 

"Hey, guys," said Justin, shaking our hands. He seemed a little nervous. I guess maybe
it was because he was meeting August for the first time. Sometimes I forget what a
shock it is the first time you meet him. "Cool room." 

 

"안녕 애들아" 저스틴이 우리에게 손 흔들며 인사했다. 그는 조금 긴장한 듯했다.

내 생각엔 어거스트를 처음 만나서 인 것 같다. 

때때로 나는 그와의 첫 만남이 충격적이었던 것을 잊었다. "차가운 분위기"
